Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data EVESS collects through www.anodizing.ae, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet the requirements of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

1. Who we are

EVESS designs, manufactures and commissions anodizing and electroplating lines and the associated effluent treatment, ventilation and process control systems. In this policy, "EVESS", "we" and "us" refer to the EVESS entity operating this website.

For the purposes of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, EVESS acts as the controller of the personal data described here. Our contact details are set out in section 11.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only what we need in order to respond to you and to run this website:

  • Data you give us in the enquiry form: your name, company, phone number, email address, the content of your message and any files you choose to attach.
  • Data you give us by contacting us directly: anything you include when you email, call or message us, including via WhatsApp.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to send it to us. Please do not include confidential commercial information in the enquiry form that you would not want transmitted by ordinary email.

3. Why we use your data, and on what basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare a technical proposal or budget estimate, and correspond with you about a possible project - processed on the basis of your consent, and of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • To perform a contract with you or with the company you represent, including project delivery, installation, commissioning and after-sales support.
  • To keep the website secure, diagnose faults and understand how the site is used - processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure website.
  • To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations that apply to us.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build advertising profiles.

If we introduce website analytics, this policy will be updated to name the provider, describe the data collected and explain how to opt out before that processing begins.

5. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract - website hosting, email delivery and IT support. They may use your data only on our instructions.
  • EVESS engineering and manufacturing colleagues who need it in order to prepare a response or deliver a project.
  • Professional advisers, or public authorities, where we are required to disclose it by law.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

EVESS operates internationally, and our engineering and manufacturing teams are located outside the UAE. Your enquiry may therefore be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one you are in.

Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we do so only where the transfer meets the conditions of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and we put appropriate contractual safeguards in place with the recipient.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: retained for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted.
  • Enquiries that lead to a contract: retained for the life of the contract and for as long afterwards as accounting, warranty and legal obligations require.
  • Website technical logs: retained for up to 12 months.

When a retention period ends, we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.

8. How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and enquiry submissions are transmitted over that same encrypted channel. Access to enquiry data is limited to the EVESS staff who need it to do their job.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we take appropriate technical and organisational measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding legal reason for us to keep it.
  • Ask us to restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
  • Receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or ask us to transfer it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
  • Object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 11. We will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

10. Children

This website is aimed at industrial and commercial organisations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Contact and complaints

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at sales@evess.ae, or write to EVESS, Concord Tower, Office 1001, Dubai Media City, Al Sufouh, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office in addition to contacting us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our processing or the applicable law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention on this page before they take effect.
